Get Rolling with 2017 Family Biking Workshops

Check out these FREE Family Biking Workshops hosted by Safe Routes to School at playgrounds near you!

  • Learn to Ride with YBike: Children of all ages and skill levels welcome. We bring bikes of all sizes to use during the workshop. Helmet giveaway while supplies last.
  • Test Ride a Family Bike: Our experts will teach you about biking gear options. Try out a family bike with seats for children.
  • Neighborhood Ride: On Road With Your Family. For adults,  children, and bike-to-school leaders. 

Workshops take place 11:00AM-2:00PM unless otherwise noted. Neighborhood ride starts at 1:30PM. Schedule subject to change: check sfbike.org/events  for updates. Is your school signed up for Bike & Roll to School Week?

Feb 11 BAYVIEW: Bret Harte Elementary. Fun for the family. Healthy snacks provided
Feb 26 BALBOA PARK: Denman Middle School, hosted by SF Shared Schoolyard Project. Fun for the whole family. Free lunch. 11AM-1PM. Neighborhood ride 1:00PM.
Mar 11 PORTOLA: E.R. Taylor Elementary School
Mar 18 WESTERN ADDITION: Rosa Parks Elementary
Mar 25 NOE VALLEY: Alvarado Elementary. No neighborhood ride
Apr 8 SUNSET: Cancelled (rain)
Apr 15 10AM-1PM OCEANSIDE/OMI: Jose Ortega Elementary School. Bike Fair hosted by Assembly member Phil Ting. Fun for the family
Apr 17-21 San Francisco Bike & Roll to School Week
