The SF Safe Routes to Schools Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced organizer to work with parents, children, youth and school staff in San Francisco schools to increase the number of families walking, biking, taking transit, and carpooling to school. The organizer will be employed at Walk San Francisco: a small, dynamic
organization whose mission is to make walking in San Francisco safe, so that our community is healthier and more livable.
Hours, Benefits, and Salary: Position is full-time, non-exempt. The position will require some work on early mornings, weeknights and weekends in order to conduct effective parent/caregiver outreach. Compensation is commensurate with experience, and includes generous vacation time, pre-tax transportation benefits, health care, retirement benefits, and dental/wellness benefits. Walk SF’s office is centrally located and (of course) easy to reach on foot from public transportation. *Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with a final deadline of October 1, 2016.
